Just as we did last year, I will be featuring some contestants that made it to Hollywood according to Joe's Place Blog, which pretty much gets it right all the time every year.
The first on my radar is Caleb Hawley from New York, New York. Caleb studied at Berklee College Of Music in Boston, MA and majored in Jazz Composition. Not only does he have a nice subtle country sound to his voice as heard here in a song titled "My Own Two Feet". He is also creative with this looping machine version of "Senorita", and just plain crazy with this almost full on drag version of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face".
