The Voice is now essentially American Idol's Rival (at least until X Factor starts this fall). But did you know a few current The Voice contestants were also on American Idol?

Frenchie Davis

Frenchie was on Season 2 of American Idol, she was disqualified after the conclusion of the Hollywood Rounds.



Kelsey Rey

Kelsey can be seen here in this American Idol season 9 Hollywood photo. She also auditioned for Season 7 where she did not make it past the celebrity judges.

Emily Valentine

When Emily was on American Idol during season 8, she went by the name Emily Wynne-Hughes. She was booted during the Hollywood rounds.
